Why the oddly specific dress code?We request that all attendees wear a outfit that fits the 'creative' black tie standards. We are making this request for a few reasons: 1) We would like for our wedding party and immediate families to stand out. These are the people who have been most influential in our lives, and we would like for them to be recognized for the amazing dedication and love they have invested in developing the woman and man we have become. 2) From a photography and videography viewpoint, the black attire creates a timelessly elegant appearance. 3) We appreciate simplicity and minimalism.
-
Can I bring a date? Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate the number of guests listed on your invitation.
-
Are kids welcome? While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
-
Where should I park? Is parking free?Holy family has a parking lot right outside of the Church, as well as, a secondary lot, across the street at the St. Joseph Center. There will be mandatory Valet parking at Wilshire Country Club. Both parking lots will be free of charge.
-
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media? We do request that photos and video not be taken during the ceremony. Professional photographers and videographers will be working their magic. Their talents will be available for your viewing pleasure at a later date. We promise. You will get every single photo and video taken during the ceremony. At the reception, we highly encourage you to take as many photos and videos as possible. We do request that when you post your photos or videos, you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #kaitlynsaidyes
-
What happens after the ceremony? After the ceremony, guests may head straight to the reception location where hors d'oeuvre and beverages will be served.
-
When is the RSVP deadline? The deadline to RSVP for the wedding will be one month prior, April 6th, 2024. This is the first Saturday of April.
-
